Follow this link to the Plat Restrictions. This on-line copy is for convenient reference only. Byrnewood lots are actually restricted by the copy of this document attached to your deed on file with the Dane County Registrar of Deeds. You should have received a paper copy at closing and with your title insurance.
All Byrnewood property owners should be familiar with the Plat Restrictions. While none of us want to live in a neighborhood where civil suits are the standard way of dealing with neighbors, each of us must share a common understanding about the kind of neighborhood in which we've agreed to live.
Your special attention is called to paragraphs 9 and 11, which stipulate that the Plat Restrictions may be amended or dissolved after December 31, 2003, by action of 50% or more of the property owners. There was no vote to amend or dissolve the Plat Restrictions, so they automatically renewed through December 31, 2008.
